Modern Tools for Better Care
Technology That Enhances Your Visit
At Romine Family Dental, we use advanced dental technology to make your visits more comfortable, efficient, and precise. These tools help us diagnose concerns earlier, plan treatments more accurately, and enhance your overall experience. By combining modern techniques with patient-centered care, we ensure you receive reliable, high-quality treatment at every visit.
3Shape Digital Wand (Trios) Intraoral Scanner
The Trios digital scanner captures a precise 3D model of your teeth and gums using a small, comfortable wand. Instead of using traditional impression trays, which can feel messy or uncomfortable, this scanner creates accurate digital images in seconds. These digital models help us design crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorations with a high level of precision. The result is a faster, cleaner, and more comfortable experience while improving the fit and quality of your dental treatments.
MouthWatch Intraoral Camera
The MouthWatch intraoral camera allows our team to show you exactly what we see during your exam. This small camera gently fits inside your mouth and captures clear, high-resolution images of your teeth and gums. By displaying these images on a screen, we can explain any concerns and walk you through recommended treatments in a way that is easy to understand. It helps you stay informed, involved, and confident in your oral health decisions.
Digital X-Ray
Digital X-rays provide detailed images of your teeth, jawbone, and surrounding structures with significantly less radiation than traditional film X-rays. These images appear instantly on our monitor, allowing us to diagnose cavities, infections, bone loss, and other concerns quickly and accurately. Digital imaging also gives us the ability to enhance and zoom in on specific areas so we can better evaluate your oral health and create a more precise treatment plan.
Diode Laser
Our diode laser allows for gentle, minimally invasive treatment of soft tissues. It can be used to reshape gum tissue, reduce bacteria around the gums, improve healing during restorative care, and enhance comfort during certain procedures. Many treatments performed with a diode laser involve little to no bleeding, reduced swelling, and faster recovery times. This technology helps us provide precise and comfortable care while supporting long-term gum health.
